One of our work ethics is our commitment to the environment. We are aware of the effect that our actions have on our environment, which is why we are already working to take the necessary measures to minimise these effects. Thus, at EEE we contribute to creating sustainable trains, which are essential if we want to achieve a cleaner, safer and, therefore, healthier environment.
In this respect, we have already implemented the following actions:
- Support for vehicle electrification projects. To this end, we take into account the international paths of transition towards sustainable energy systems, supporting a non-polluting transport sector and reducing emissions to help curb climate change.
- High product durability. We use quality materials and manufacturing, with no planned obsolescence. This factor, coupled with our commitment to prioritise the repair of damaged parts where possible, rather than simply replacing parts that could be salvaged, reduces the burden on the environment.
- The use of environmentally friendly materials, a point of great relevance to achieve societies and lifestyles that respect our environment, also increasing the recyclability of the elements.
- Finally, our products are audited by the Environmental Management System, to certify compliance with environmental policies and the contribution to environmental improvement in our systems and processes.
