If there is proof of our working method and our passion for doing things well, it is our clients. But not only them: throughout our almost 40 years of professional experience, different certificates endorse our work and our compliance with all the regulations established in the railway electronic engineering sector. Thus, all our solutions are designed and developed in accordance with the following directives and standards:
SIL 2
SIL is an acronym for Safety Integrity Level.
This demanding quality standard refers to the likelihood that a system fulfils its safety functions, resulting in the absence of failures that pose unacceptable risks. More information on SIL certifications can be found here.
EN 45545
This standard unifies the railway safety criteria relating to fire prevention on passenger railway vehicles. Compliance with this standard has been mandatory in Europe since 2015, and certifies that, in the event of fire, both passengers and crew can evacuate to a safe area.
EN 50155
This certification indicates that the electronic systems used are maintained within the parameters established for railway environments.
EN 50657
Regulation that refers to the software running on-board rolling stock meeting the established quality and safety standards.
AENOR ER + IQNET: ISO 9001
The international ISO9001 accreditation certifies the quality of our solutions and our ability to meet our clients’ needs as part of a continuous improvement approach to optimise our processes. Furthermore, following the revision of this standard in 2015, the efficient management of certified companies is further enhanced.
ARGE
The ARGE guideline defines the requirements that, with the aim of personal safety, must be met in rolling stock in the event of fire. It is based on the protection of passengers and on-board staff, creating acceptable conditions for safe evacuation from vehicles.
It is used as a functional test for fire detection systems related to the determination of the response time according to smoke, heat and radiative criteria from potential fire incidents. Specific design, construction and testing requirements are necessary to ensure the installation of fire detection systems on rolling stock.
At Triple E we provide all the support needed to carry out the battery of tests that guarantee correct compliance with the regulations.
ISO 14001
This set of regulations refers to aspects of environmental management, recognising organisations as socially responsible in terms of resource and waste optimisation. It also involves reducing negative environmental impacts and promoting environmental protection.
This set of regulations not only reflects our capabilities in the sector, but also commits us to continue improving for the benefit of our clients and the results they expect from us.
